Test Name: Rainbow Beta Testing Onboarding Review
Test Date: March 2024
Test ID: 4861
This test is being provided for our clients over at “Rainbow” – an online Ethereum wallet and advanced security system for crypto goods and services. The app being tested is the unreleased beta version of the application only available for registered testers.
As you work on this task, pay close attention to every step of the authentication process, from user registration to login and verification methods involved. Our system implements real-time progress tracking that allows us to monitor your testing activities, helping our clients make informed decision to enhance their systems. Please document any issues, irregularities, or recommendations meticulously, as your findings will play a pivotal role in optimizing user experience and security.
Once accepted, this beta test will be sent to you via email by Rainbow’s beta testing team.
Your test account details are included at the bottom of this page.
Please note – Screenshots must be performed at all stages of the process. The tester may crop out personal details at their discretion.
The testing process will be performed as such:
-
- The client tester (you) will be instructed to download the ‘Rainbow’ Beta APK application sent to you by email by our testing team at Rainbow.
- Click the “Create New Wallet” button featured on the application’s splash screen.
- Create a new account.
- Select “Not Now” for enable notifications banner.
- Perform the KYC process as described by the application.
- ID Document – at this stage the application will ask the user to scan valid ID, depending on the security level being tested, as set before the test begins. Rainbow’s auth-algorithm will be used to compare ID to Facial features, thereby detecting fraud and identity document issues. This process may appear in many different ways, keep note of how it appears to you for the post-test survey. The tester’s ID should be scanned per the written requirements that appear at this stage in the application. Please note – all data is deleted upon completion of the test & under no circumstances is to be shared or even seen by any third parties – including BitWalla and Recheque Co. Users should ensure that the selected document in their possession is accurate and non-expired.
- Facial Recognition – at this stage the tester will be asked by the
application to perform a face scan or “Live Selfie” – this process will
assess the correct detection of facial features as well as compare the
identity document image to the tester’s facial features using in-house developed AI.The user will be asked to perform facial recognition twice – once with just facial features in the camera field and another while holding up a valid ID next to the tester’s face. - Proof-of-Address – this stage will display if the system decides that
additional authentication is required. This is entirely normal and is why we are performing tests like this. Prior to uploading a document, communicate with your Recheque test manager and let him/her know what document you would like to upload.
- Report to your Recheque rep that you have finished the test and are waiting for the test results.
This QA test will be paying $40 upon successful test completion
As listed above in the test summary all testers should be prepared for the test with:
- A stable internet connection
- A valid local ID
- A valid Proof-of-address document
Please confirm that these items are prepared for the QA test.
For any questions of concerns feel free to reach out.
A reminder that the goal of this test is to provide insight on the user flow of the application – therefore all steps should be documented, summarized, and screenshot – & sent to the tester`s Recheque rep upon completion.
